28 Jly - United XI 1-2 Eastbourne Boro XI
United played their first game under their new floodlights on Wednesday, taking of Blue Square Conference neighbours Eastbourne Borough. Fielding virtually two different lineiups in each half they went down 2-1, the winning goal coming in stoppage time.
Borough took the lead after just eight minutes when an intended cross from Matt Crabb deceived new keeper Scott Chalmers-Steven and went in at the far post.
Both sides played some neat football but there were few clear-cut chances. It was en interesting 90 minutes though and a decent crowd of 434 was well entertained.
Hastings levelled things up with five minutes to go when Luke Newman fired home from close range. It looked like it would end all square until the third minute of added time when a long ball defeated the United backline and James Taylor fired home.

27 Jly - New Associate Sponsor Announced
The draw to find Hastings United Football Club’s Associate Sponsor for season 2010-11 took place at the club’s photo shoot/media event on Thursday 22nd July.
Many of the companies participating were in attendance to see Bexhill College drawn out in first place and as such become the club’s new associate sponsor.
Among the benefits they receive they will have a stand named as the ‘Bexhill College Stand’, their name will be on the back of first team shirts and they will be the programme sponsor for the season.
All entries will attract a sponsorship prize including match ball and ball children match day sponsorship.
The club would like to thank all the companies taking part in this year’s promotion

24 Jly - Westfield XI 0-5 United XI
Hastings ran out comfortable winners at neighbours Westfield on Saturday afternoon scoring 5 goals without reply.
Two first half goals from Kenny Pogue and a glancing header from Michael Phillips gave United a 3-0 half time league. Once again Tony Dolby fielded an almost entire new team in the second half and further goals came from Ade Olorunda and with the last kick of the game a Lee Carey penalty wrapped up the win with Hastings keeper Josh Pelling only having to make a couple of saves during the game although Westfield did rattle the United woodwork in the second half.
The pre-season warm ups get a little tougher this week with United set to entertain Conference National side Eastbourne Borough on Wednesday evening at 7.45pm which will be the first game under the new lights at The Pilot Field. Admission costs are Adults £7, Concessions £5 and Under 18s £2.

20 Jly - Ade Olorunda got United's pre-season campaign up and running with an early goal, as the U's eased to a 6-0 victory over a Punnetts Town XI this evening. New signing Fraser Logan was also amongst the scorers, and trialist Kenny Pogue wrapped up a comfortable warm-up win, with Russell Eldridge, Steve Elliott and Luke Newman grabbing the other goals.

17 Jly - The draw for the second round of the Sussex Senior Cup has handed United a home tie against either Three Bridges or AFC Uckfield.

16 Jly - The Ryman League was finally able to issue its Premier Division fixture list this afternoon, with United facing a home start against Wealdstone on 21 August, before travelling to Maidstone three days later. Tonbridge will visit the Pilot Field to provide the post-Christmas opposition, while the U's will be away to Cray Wanderers on New Year's Day, with the return trip to Longmead scheduled for Easter Monday. The season is due to end at home to Aveley on 30 April. Full fixture list

15 Jly - The Club has signed up Activ Hastings as its latest Platinum Business Partner. Their website is the comprehensive online guide to Hastings and the 1066 area, and they are kindly offering a free advertising package to all of the Club's Business Partners and Supporters' Club members.

12 Jly - Admission prices for the U's three home pre-season matches have been confirmed today. Entry to the Eastbourne Borough game will cost £7 for adults, £5 for concessions and £2 for under 18s, while the Rye United and Merstham games will cost £5 for adults, £3 for concessions and £1 for under 18s. Season tickets will be valid for all three of these fixtures.

9 Jly - Twenty-five year old defender John Beales has become United's fifth new signing of the summer, having agreed to join the U's from last season's Premier Division champions Dartford. Beales started his career at Tonbridge Angels, earning a trial with Bristol Rovers after six seasons at Longmead. But a cruciate ligament injury saw him miss the entire 2008/09 campaign, ruining his chance of a move into the professional ranks, and he returned to full fitness at Princes Park twelve months ago.

8 Jly - The draws for the various FA competitions have once again been far from kind to the Club this season. In the FA Cup, United will be away to Bognor Regis Town, East Preston or Ringmer in the first qualifying round on 11 September, while a visit to Dulwich Hamlet awaits the U's at the same stage of the FA Trophy on 16 October. The sequence of away ties then continued with a trip to Peacehaven & Telscombe in the first qualifying round of the FA Youth Cup during the week commencing 20 September.

7 Jly - U's boss Tony Dolby has today confirmed a further two new signings ahead of the 2010/11 campaign. Attacking, left sided midfielder or striker Fraser Logan joins United from Tonbridge, linking up with his former Angels colleagues Anthony Storey and Jamie Cade at the Pilot Field, and following the departure of Steve Williams, goalkeeper Scott Chalmers-Stevens has agreed to join the Club from Ashford Town.

5 Jly - The draw to select the coming season's Associate Sponsor will now take place during the Club's media event from 6.15pm on Thursday 22 July. All draw ticket holders are welcome to attend on the evening, when team and individual player photos can be taken, and the management team will also be available for interview.

21 Jun - Following the success of last year's event, the Club will be running another Golf Day, once again at Cooden Beach Golf Club, on Friday 17th September. For a cost of £75 per person, you can enjoy coffee and bacon rolls, before teeing off for a full eighteen holes, followed by a three course evening meal, entertainment from comedian Adger Brown, an auction and a raffle. Evening only tickets are also available for £30 per person, or £225 for a table of eight. To book, please call Dave Walters on 07970 165102.

16 Jun - The new floodlight installation at the Pilot Field will commence on Monday 21 June. The work will be undertaken by Highlights Floodlighting Ltd and is expected to take about two or three weeks to complete.

3 Jun - United's off-field plans continue to take shape, with the signing of a new four year deal with kit suppliers Superstitch, which will see the launch of redesigned home and away shirts for next season. Press release

18 May - The U's have unveiled their first new signings of the summer, with midfielder Anthony Storey and striker Jamie Cade both moving to the Pilot Field from Tonbridge Angels. The experienced duo both hail from the north-east, and started their careers at Middlesbrough. Storey has also played for Dunfermline Athletic, Lewes and Eastbourne Borough, while Cade has featured for Chesterfield, Colchester United, Crawley Town and Lewes.

12 May - Season ticket prices and matchday admission costs have been decided for the 2010/11 campaign, which sees the Club offering free entry to Under 12s accompanied by an adult. Full details are in the Club Info section.
