1 Jly - For the third year running, United have been handed a tough looking draw in the first qualifying round of the FA Cup, a trip to Farnborough, last season's Southern Premier Division runners-up and beaten play-off finalists, on 12 September. In the first qualifying round of the FA Trophy meanwhile, United will be at home to Ryman Division One South side Merstham on 17 October, and in the preliminary round of the FA Youth Cup, United will be at home to Deal Town during the week commencing 7 September, with the winners to visit Saltdean in the first qualifying round two weeks later.
29 Jun - Due to circumstances beyond their control, Punnetts Town have reluctantly been forced to call off the friendly against United on 18 July.
22 Jun - The Club has regrettably been forced to postpone plans to replace the Pilot Field floodlights for the time being. Further details
16 Jun - The Club would like to extend grateful thanks to all of its commercial supporters, especially to Smart Property Solutions, who are about to enter the second of their initial two year long deal as the Club's main sponsor. The Reserves are also set to benefit from the generous support of Focus SB for a second year running, and new Business Partners are getting involved too, with Impact Design & Print, Vantis plc, Martin & Bowles and Cornfield Law the latest to have joined the scheme. Please try to support those companies that support the Club, several of whom offer discounts to United Supporters' Club members, and don't forget to make full use of United's 'webshop', or wby not join the 200 Club if you have not already done so?
6 Jun - Many thanks to all of the willing volunteers who came along to the Pilot Field on Saturday and helped out on the first day of summer work at the ground. Your efforts were very much appreciated by everyone at the Club.
27 May - United have donated a football kit to the town of Hastings in Sierra Leone, our twin town in Africa, which has already benefited from a number of donations and visits from the people of Hastings in East Sussex. The Club was keen to be part of the friendship link which has existed between the two towns since 1999, a link that is helping Hastings in Sierra Leone get back on its feet, following years of turmoil and destruction caused by a civil war.
26 May - With preparations already underway for next season, attention must now turn to getting the ground ready for the new campaign. The Supporters' Club is once again appealing for volunteers to assist with a whole range of tasks. Work will commence at 9.30am on June 6th, and will continue each Saturday until complete, so please come along and join in if you can.
25 May - The Club was recently informed by Sussex Police that Russell Davis, a former turnstile operator at the Pilot Field, was found guilty of theft from the Club on 20th September 2008. There had been suspicious for some time about Mr Davis' gate returns, and CCTV was installed last summer to monitor the turnstiles. After reviewing the footage, Mr Davis was arrested, and subsequently charged on 27th March. He has been sentenced to 120 hours of community service, and ordered to pay costs.

21 May - Following yesterday's initial announcement, manager Tony Dolby has confirmed that the following players are also set to remain with United, having agreed terms for the new season; Greg Nessling, Steve Elliott, Rhys Whyborne, Scott Ramsay, Danny Spice, Luke Newman, Michael Phillips, Nathan Russell and Lee Carey, And joining them will be Ade and Tim Olorunda, who are both set to return to the Pilot Field, a year after departing for Tonbridge Angels.
20 May - Influential striker Sam Adams has officially been confirmed as the first player to have signed for the Club ahead of the 2009/10 campaign. Several other members of last season's squad have also verbally agreed to stay at the Pilot Field, including young midfielder Matt Maclean, on whose contract United were intending to exercise an option anyway.
15 May - The Club is once again running a promotion to find an Associate Sponsor for the coming season. Further details
10 May - The Club is pleased to confirm that admission and season ticket prices will be frozen for next season. Any season tickets purchased prior to July 1st will be available at a discounted rate; £143 for adults, £90 for concessions and £36 for under 18s. Please contact Tony Cosens at the Club for further details, and please note that proof of age will be requested for concessionary and under 18 ticket purchases.
