| Hugely popular local footballing figure, who was appointed to the job in May 2008, following a successful season in charge of United Reserves, and four months after a brief stint in caretaker charge of the senior side. First played at the Pilot Field for the original Hastings United in the mid-1970s, making his Southern League debut in 1977, before moving to County League neighbours Hastings Town in 1980. Five years later, with United having gone out of business, and Town promoted to the Southern League in their place, he returned to the Pilot Field for two more seasons, before winding down his playing career with several seasons in local football. Gained management experience with Bexhill and Westfield, before rejoining the Club in the summer of 2007, earning great respect for his nurturing of United's talented young Reserve squad, and even rolling back the years by turning out in defence on several occasions. | |

| Right hand man to John Lambert during his managerial stints at Westfield and United Reserves, who then joined him in stepping up to the First Team role at the Pilot Field in May 2008. Spent a large part of his playing career at Stamco, during their meteoric rise from local football to the Southern League. Also captained Sidley United to the County League title in 2001, before ending his playing days at Westfield, and moving into management. | |

Was subsequently released by the Football League side and enjoyed stints with Ramsgate, Worthing, Burgess Hill and Horsham YMCA, before rejoining Burgess Hill for the 2007/08 campaign. Was subsequently released by the Club less than two weeks into the new season. | |

First joined the Club at the end of March 2006, on a dual registration basis with Conference South side Maidenhead United, before re-signing towards the end of August 2006. Started his career as a trainee with Manchester United and signed for Bury upon his release from Old Trafford in June 2001. After just one season though, he dropped into the non-league game with Weymouth and moved to Lewes twelve months later, where he spent two successful seasons. Left the Dripping Pan at the end of the 2004/05 campaign and spent a brief spell with Horsham, before joining Maidenhead. Signed for County League side Ringmer following his release by United towards the end of October 2006, but a superb tally of forty-nine goals in the 2007/08 campaign led the Club to offer him a new deal. | |
